Honu Highlights: Scorched Earth 2026 Scenario Paintball Event Recap
The 2026 Scorched Earth Scenario Paintball Event at Black Ops Paintball delivered everything players look for in a major scenario game — community, strategy, teamwork, and unforgettable moments on and off the field.
Weeks before the event, the excitement was already building across social media. Players from across the country were posting about their travel plans and anticipation for one of the most anticipated scenario paintball events of the year. Questions about game mechanics and strategy were flowing in as Marc and Johnny worked through the inevitable “grey areas,” while the incredible team at Black Ops Paintball kept players updated with daily improvements designed to make the experience even better than previous years.
Behind the scenes, Char carefully mapped out the battle plan for the weekend. Lani made sure every detail was covered, and Solaw finalized referee assignments to ensure the event ran smoothly from start to finish.
608 Players Unite at Black Ops Paintball
When the weekend finally arrived, the weather was perfect — and players began arriving days early because they simply couldn’t wait to reunite with the Honu family.
This year’s Scorched Earth scenario paintball game welcomed 608 players, with 10% representing the Young Guns, proving that the next generation of scenario players is already stepping onto the field.
From veteran scenario teams to first-time players, the event once again showed why Black Ops Paintball continues to host some of the most memorable scenario paintball experiences in the country.
True Scenario Paintball Sportsmanship
One of the most interesting dynamics of the weekend came early in the game when a noticeable imbalance in player numbers developed between the sides.
But in true scenario paintball community fashion, several teams and individual players stepped up. Not only did they volunteer to switch sides to restore balance, but they fought even harder for their newly adopted teammates — a perfect demonstration of the sportsmanship and camaraderie that defines the #BestPlayerFamily.
HK Army Captures the Scorched Earth Experience
Another exciting moment came when HK Army reached out to attend the event. After hearing for years about the energy, community, and atmosphere surrounding the Scorched Earth paintball event, they wanted to come out and film the experience firsthand to help show the world what makes this scenario paintball community so unique.
The Weekend Always Goes Too Fast
As always, it feels like it takes forever for the event weekend to arrive… and then it passes in the blink of an eye.
What remains are the things that matter most — the smiles, the stories, the welts, and the sore muscles. Every refresh of social media brings another photo, another highlight moment, another new friend request, or another follow from someone you met during the event.
These are the moments that remind us why we proudly call ourselves the #BestPlayerFamily.
Thank you to everyone who helped make the 2026 Scorched Earth scenario paintball event at Black Ops Paintball another unforgettable reunion.
Much love until we are together again,
Honu
